Enshrouded 1.0 arrives Oct. 15 on PC, PS5; Xbox delayed
Enshrouded 1.0 will release Oct. 15, 2026 on PC and PlayStation 5. The Xbox Series X|S launch is delayed to spring 2027 for additional performance optimization.
Keen Games will release Enshrouded 1.0 on Oct. 15, 2026 for PC and PlayStation 5. The studio announced the Xbox Series X|S version is delayed until spring 2027 to allow additional performance optimization. The October release will mark the game’s exit from Early Access on PC and PS5.
The studio revealed the date on its social channels and published a trailer that previews new content. The trailer shows a large floating island supported by towering stone pylons and connected to the ground by multiple platforms, indicating a new explorable area for the 1.0 update.
Keen Games listed several technical and gameplay changes planned for the full launch. The update will include improved onboarding for new players and general optimization work across platforms.
Creator tools under the Adventure Sharing feature will be expanded with new logic gates, traps and enemy spawners to allow more complex custom worlds. Combat changes will add new enemy types and upgraded AI to make encounters more varied and responsive.
Keen Games chief executive Jan Jockel wrote that the team needed more time to meet its performance targets on Xbox consoles and that development is progressing well. The studio has indicated it will provide additional timing and plans for the Xbox release in the coming months.
Players on PC and PS5 can expect the new region, expanded creator tools, onboarding improvements and combat tweaks at launch on Oct. 15. Xbox Series X|S players will receive the same content after the studio completes the performance work scheduled for spring 2027.
Keen Games has not published a detailed post-launch roadmap. The developer plans to release more information about post-launch support and the Xbox schedule before the spring 2027 window.
