GTA 6: Confirmed side activities and mini-games
Reports and early in-game sightings indicate GTA 6 will include dozens of side activities in Vice City, from basketball, pool and mini-golf to fishing, hunting, scuba diving, kayaking, gym workouts, parachuting and races.
Reports and early in-game sightings indicate Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 6 will include dozens of side activities and mini-games across Vice City. The activities listed so far include street and pub games, sports, water-based options, fitness challenges, racing formats and combat-based recreations.
Observed leisure options include basketball courts, pool tables and mini-golf courses. Combat-related extras reportedly include backyard wrestling events and illegal cage fighting matches. Water and wetland activities seen in the world include kayaking and canoeing through rivers and swamps, airboating in marshes, jet ski travel along the coast and scuba diving for underwater exploration. The game also shows opportunities for fishing and hunting in natural areas.
Fitness and racing features include gym workouts, dirt bike racing on off-road tracks, supercar racing on circuit tracks, scooter riding through city streets and parachuting and base jumping from high points and aircraft. Some vehicles such as jet skis and scooters are present in locations commonly used for fast travel between areas.
The side activities appear accessible within the open world rather than limited to mission sequences. Players can enter nightclubs, bars and beaches, use an in-game phone to browse social feeds, and visit strip clubs that return in this installment. Several activities are placed in outdoor and underwater zones.
Combat-based mini-games and organized races provide alternative conflict and competition formats alongside casual pub competitions. Reported mechanics include both one-on-one encounters and organized track events.
No full list of side activities has been published by Rockstar, and the studio has not released detailed descriptions of how each mini-game will function in gameplay. Available information comes from reports and early sightings of features within the game world.
