Seoul-based indie studio IZZLE has released Guidus One, a pixel-art roguelike now available on Android and iOS. The game reached number seven on South Korea’s App Store Top Free Games chart shortly after launch.
Guidus One features real-time, grid-based combat. Players move across tiles in real time and respond to enemy actions rather than taking turns. Encounters emphasize positioning and timing as players move, dodge and use abilities while progressing through dungeon floors.
The game offers a roster of playable heroes, each with distinct abilities. Players can combine skills with Karma effects to develop different strategies during a run. Dungeon layouts, terrain, traps, enemy types and boss encounters are procedurally generated so each attempt presents a different configuration of challenges.
The interface is designed for vertical play and uses simple touch controls alongside handcrafted pixel-art visuals. IZZLE plans ongoing content updates, including additional dungeon material to expand the game over time.
Guidus One is the latest entry in IZZLE’s Guidus series and is available to download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
