Guild Wars Reforged launches globally on mobile

ArenaNet launched Guild Wars Reforged worldwide on Android and iOS, offering refreshed visuals and the full original Guild Wars saga from Ascalon’s fall through Nightfall.

ArenaNet released Guild Wars Reforged globally for Android and iOS. The mobile edition was announced in April 2026 and soft-launched in select regions in May before its global release. Players can download the game from the Google Play Store and the App Store.

The release reproduces the original Guild Wars campaign structure, covering the fall of Ascalon through the Nightfall storyline. It includes three parallel campaigns with hundreds of quests, seasonal holiday events and a sequence of missions that progress the saga.

Guild Wars Reforged lets players choose from ten professions and assemble builds from thousands of skills. Characters can equip a range of armor and weapons. Players unlock new abilities by exploring regions and defeating enemies.

The mobile version supports cooperative play, allowing standard multiplayer matches, party formation with other players and the recruitment of NPC henchmen to fill groups for PvE content. Competitive PvP modes and hard-mode challenges remain available.

Technical updates for mobile include upgraded visuals, an optimized user interface, controller support and cross-platform play. ArenaNet described the title as a skill-collecting MMORPG built on the original Guild Wars content.

The game is available worldwide on Android and iOS and can be downloaded from their respective app stores.
