Mobile Legends 2.2.10 nerfs Popol & Kupa, adds Training

Patch 2.2.10 on the advanced server nerfs revamped Popol and Kupa, rebalances Aldous, buffs Alpha and Sun, and introduces a Hero Training system plus Survival Mode and UI updates.
Developers released Patch 2.2.10 to the Mobile Legends advanced server, applying multiple hero balance changes and system updates ahead of any full live rollout. The update reduces the power of the revamped Popol and Kupa, adjusts several other heroes, and adds a new Hero Training feature along with mode and interface tweaks.
Popol and Kupa received nerfs after testing showed excessive jungle clear and late-game damage. Kupa’s damage versus creeps was lowered from 200% to 150%. Popol’s Skill 1 spear and bite damage scales were cut from 80–170 (+75% Total Physical Attack) to 80–125 (+70% Total Physical Attack). The enhanced alpha wolf form damage dropped from 120–255 (+150% Total Physical Attack) to 120–240 (+140% Total Physical Attack).
Aldous was rebalanced to slow his stack gain and adjust mobility and survivability. The patch alters the number of stacks gained from siege minions, non-hero units and hero hits, raises the stack cap from 650 to 1,000, and reduces bonus damage per stack from 5 to 3. His base shield was lowered from 500 to 350, and a new effect grants 60% extra movement speed for one second when he gains a shield.
Alpha received early-game buffs. His passive laser now scales with Total Physical Attack, changing from 80 (+80% Extra Physical Attack) to 50 (+50% Total Physical Attack) with the same level scaling. Skill 2 now heals when hitting an enemy with higher base healing (80–330 (+40% Extra Physical Attack)) and a 40% decay ratio so healing drops for subsequent enemies hit.
Other hero adjustments include a reduction to Atlas’s Skill 2 movement speed boost from 40% to 25% and a trim to Bruno’s Skill 1 base damage from 100–225 to 100–200. Cici’s spell vamp per Delight stack increased from 0.75% to 1.25%. Kagura’s umbrella max range was shortened from 8.7 to 8 to ease retrieval while moving.
Kalea’s passive was made more resistant to interruption so her third basic attack can trigger while controlled; her Skill 1 physical attack bonuses were lowered from 90% to 20% (base) and from 20% to 10% (sustained). Her ultimate’s base damage per lightwheel rose and movement speed during the ultimate increased from 20% to 30%. Lukas had some recent changes reverted: base HP was reduced from 2,620 to 2,550, Spin Damage physical attack bonus rose from 40% to 45%, and Skill 3’s attribute increase can now scale up to 20%.
Melissa’s Skill 1 attack speed and duration were reduced. Miya’s Moonlight Shadow Split Arrow damage and attack effect inheritance were sharply reduced to better match original design intent. Sun was buffed after prior changes left him weaker in non-roaming lanes: Skill 3 base damage increased to 355–430 and its slow rose from 20% to 25%. Several doppelganger damage multipliers were adjusted and the enemy gold reward for killing a doppelganger was lowered from 26 (+1.5* game minutes) to 10 (+1.0* game minutes). Yi Sun-shin’s Skill 1 cooldown increased from 12–7 seconds to 12–9 seconds to limit dash frequency.
System and mode updates arrived alongside hero tuning. A new Hero Training system lets players select a training hero to receive privileges such as free skin trials, star protection and task-based rewards. Season Achievements now allow carryover of namecards, style plates and loading screen displays from previous seasons and include display icons for carryover rewards.
Card Brawl received card adjustments and new cards, and the gold and EXP gained per kill were modified to reduce level gaps after deaths. Survival Mode was updated with optimized background art and monster visuals, clearer effects for dropped Exploration Coins, continuous HP recovery after avoiding damage for a set period, cooldown reduction on kills or assists, and three HP Orbs dropped on death by players and bosses that restore health when picked up.
The Angela “Floral Elf” collector skin is temporarily unavailable on the advanced server while it is optimized. Patch 2.2.10 is live on the advanced server for testing; the developers did not announce a date for a full live rollout.
