Rainbow Six Mobile adds Zofia and permanent 3v3 Close Quarters
Operation Concrete Impact adds attacker Zofia, a permanent 3v3 Close Quarters mode on Resolute Bravo, Fireteam Matchmaking for full squads, Ranked changes and technical fixes.
Ubisoft released the Operation Concrete Impact update for Rainbow Six Mobile, adding attacker Zofia, a permanent 3v3 Close Quarters mode and a set of matchmaking, Ranked and technical changes. The update revises leaderboards and player history features and applies multiple Operator balance adjustments.
Zofia joins the Attacker roster equipped with the KS79 Lifeline grenade launcher, which fires Impact Grenades to destroy gadgets, breach soft walls and hatches, and Concussion Grenades that detonate near enemies to disorient them. Her primary and sidearm options include the M762 assault rifle and the RG15 pistol.
Close Quarters is now a permanent 3v3 playlist on the Resolute Bravo map, a compact symmetrical arena set aboard the Resolute training ship. Matches use a best-of-five format with one-minute rounds. Teams use the same rotating trio of Operators, with the available lineup changing every 24 hours. The Objective Zone appears after 30 seconds and requires eight seconds to capture. A round can be won by capturing the Objective Zone or eliminating the opposing team.
Matchmaking gains a Fireteam Matchmaking feature that initially focuses on matching full five-player teams against other full teams. Ubisoft plans to test additional options for mixed fireteam combinations. Ranked progression has been adjusted: Match Score Factor increases from 0.01 to 0.04, maximum Match Performance Valor XP rises from 50 to 100, and Round Win Valor XP increases from 8 to 15. Medal thresholds have been lowered: Gold from four to three medals, Platinum from five to four, and Diamond from six to five.
Leaderboards will track individual playlists including Ranked, Arcade, Quick Play, Close Quarters and Time Limited Modes. Regional leaderboards will cover six regions, including India and MENA. Players will find Match History in their Player Profile showing recent results, maps, modes, final scores and previous scoreboards.
Graphics and performance options expand with FPS caps ranging from 30 to 240 and a Render Scale setting to balance image quality and performance. Technical work targets hit registration by reducing client-server position discrepancies that could make shots appear to hit but register as misses. Network stability fixes focus on packet loss and latency fluctuations.
Operator adjustments include an increase to Ash’s Breaching Round damage from 50 to 100 core damage, a reduction to Finka’s Adrenal Surge health boost from full HP to 50 HP, and an expanded warning radius for Fuze’s Cluster Charge from 5 meters to 10 meters while removing the small viewing hole on reinforced walls. Dokkaebi will no longer reveal which Attacker is viewing hacked cameras. Jäger’s Magpie gains a nine-second cooldown after intercepting a projectile and will display new blinking visuals and an audio cue when it becomes active again. Kapkan’s Entry Denial Devices equip faster, with equip time reduced from 1.0 second to 0.4 second. Capitao’s Fire and Smoke Toxic Gas will bypass DBNO and eliminate players directly; Rook’s armor plates will not prevent those eliminations, and friendly fire from these hazards is disabled during the Prep Phase.
The update follows the earlier Operation Chain Reaction release and continues the mobile version’s program of regular feature, balance and technical updates.
