Ready or Not adds mission editor and free weapon pack

Update 1.5 adds an initial mission editor with detailed NPC and gameplay toggles for singleplayer and friends-only lobbies, plus a free triple weapon skin pack.

Void Interactive released Update 1.5 for Ready or Not, adding an initial mission editor that players can use in singleplayer and friends-only multiplayer lobbies. The patch is available now.

The editor offers basic and advanced toggles to change gameplay variables including player health, bandage limits, friendly fire and its penalty, and a damage cap that limits how much harm a single hit can inflict.

Trap settings can be adjusted by count and type. Door states can be set by percentage to control how many doors start locked or open. There is a multiplier for shielded melee damage.

An AI tab contains the most extensive options for computer-controlled characters: SWAT teammates, suspects and civilians. Users can set health, accuracy, rate of fire, sight range, reaction time and morale for each NPC category.

Suspects can be assigned archetypes such as sneaky, cowardly, irrational, professional, twitchy or tactical. Civilians can be set as unaware, noncompliant, hostages or prisoners. Toggles control roaming civilians and whether civilians may be equipped with explosive vests.

Players can change the preferred primary and secondary weapons suspects carry. Suspect-specific modifiers include the length of stun disable time, chances to hesitate, fake surrender or play dead, perceptiveness and an accuracy penalty when holding a hostage.

Custom missions generate a shareable code that works across platforms. The update includes several bug fixes.

The patch adds a free triple weapon skin pack featuring the Hard Chrome MK-V pistol, Flat Dark Earth 590M shotgun and LSPD Blue M32A1 rotary grenade launcher. Players who own the original versions of these skins receive access to both sets.

Ready or Not is a tactical first-person shooter focused on SWAT operations that emphasizes careful clearing, team coordination and measured decision-making. The mission editor lets players create and share custom scenarios for solo play or cooperative sessions with friends.
