Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! coming to mobile in 2027; Japan beta July

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! will launch on Android and iOS in 2027. A Japan-only closed beta for about 2,000 players runs July 15–21, 2026; applications are open through July 7, 2026.

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! is scheduled for release on Android and iOS in 2027. The title will be published by Sanrio Games, the company’s new gaming label.

A Japan-only closed beta will take place from July 15 to July 21, 2026, with roughly 2,000 participant slots. Applications are being accepted through July 7, 2026; successful applicants will receive confirmation by email after recruitment closes.

The game was revealed during Sanrio Fest 2026 at the Sanrio Character Awards presentation.

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! is a dance rhythm game that pairs players with Sanrio characters and includes options to customize outfits and performance stages.

Gameplay is split into two modes. Performance mode uses simpler controls intended for a broad audience. Technical mode offers more difficult songs and mechanics for players seeking a higher challenge.

Characters confirmed for the title include Hello Kitty, Kuromi and Cinnamoroll. The game combines musical play with visual customization of costumes and stages.

To apply for the closed beta, players must visit the official Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! website, select the Early Access Experience application link, complete the form and submit their entry.

Sanrio Games has not disclosed additional test regions or a more specific 2027 release window beyond Android and iOS.

Kawaii Me Live! is the first mobile title released directly under Sanrio Games, following the label’s launch earlier in the year.
