Wild Rift reaches $1B in revenue, trails top mobile MOBAs

League of Legends: Wild Rift has passed $1 billion in lifetime revenue but ranks below Honor of Kings, Mobile Legends and Arena of Valor in downloads, active users and revenue, Data.ai reports.

League of Legends: Wild Rift has exceeded $1 billion in lifetime revenue, according to Data.ai. The mobile version of Riot Games’ League of Legends launched in 2020 and has been released in multiple regions since then.

Data.ai’s rankings show Honor of Kings ahead of Wild Rift in downloads, active users and total revenue. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Arena of Valor also rank higher than Wild Rift on those measures in the Data.ai charts.

Wild Rift generates revenue through in-game purchases, including character skins, battle passes and other microtransactions. The title’s global rollout and platform availability contributed to its accumulated revenue since launch.

Data.ai compiles metrics for installs, user engagement and revenue to rank mobile games across markets. In those terms, downloads record the number of app installations, active user figures track ongoing engagement, and revenue totals reflect player spending in each market.

Games that launched earlier have had more time to build installs and sustained user bases. Regional spending patterns, particularly high expenditure in China, support larger revenue totals for some competing titles.

The Data.ai figures represent an external market snapshot and do not include Riot Games’ internal metrics or projections. The mobile MOBA market shows varying performance by region and platform based on installs, engagement and spending.
