Mobile Legends Patch 2.2.14 Adds Mage Dori, Mode Overhaul

Advanced Server Patch 2.2.14 introduces mage Dori, adjusts multiple heroes and items, and renames Survival mode to ‘Survival for Fortune’ ahead of live testing.
Mobile Legends released Patch 2.2.14 on its Advanced Server. The update adds a new mage hero, Dori, applies a range of hero and item adjustments, temporarily disables two skins for optimization, and renames Survival mode to ‘Survival for Fortune’. The changes are listed in the patch notes for testing before a live release.
Dori is a Nature Spirit mage who fights with a banner. Her passive, Merry Mark, places a mark on targets and grants movement speed each time she casts a skill; hitting a marked target with a skill again deals extra damage. Her Skill 1, Timid Courage, deals area damage, knocks enemies back and grants a shield. Her Skill 3, Starlit Parade, damages and stuns enemies inside a ring.
Several heroes received nerfs and refinements. Aulus had his enhanced basic attack HP regeneration reduced from 50 (+25% total physical attack) to 30 (+15% total physical attack), enhanced attack damage cut from 175 (+20×level) to 115 (+15×level), Skill 2’s first hit changed from a brief stun to a heavy slow (99% for 0.5s), and his ultimate lost the added slow. Argus saw a slightly reduced stun on Skill 2, new scaling that links damage to critical chance and critical damage at 40% effectiveness, and an ultimate cooldown increase to 45s with damage adjustments. Paquito’s enhanced Skill 2 base damage shifted from 350–750 to 300–800 and its physical attack multiplier dropped from 230% to 210%. Karina’s enhanced basic attack magic scaling moved from +65% to +60% total magic power. Kalea’s passive HP regeneration was reduced. Melissa’s summoned Muddles transfers less basic-attack damage (60% to 55%) and now inherits attack effects at 55% instead of 80%. Marcel’s Skill 1 and Skill 2 cooldowns increased from 12.5–10s to 15–12s and his ultimate cooldown rose from 74–62s to 90–66s. Hanzo’s skill-based HP regeneration values were trimmed. Lukas received a small change to spin damage and an increase in HP regeneration from 5% to 9% of max HP, with Pulverize base adjusted to 280–580 and spin damage to 80–180. Developers reverted recent adjustments to Hirara while continuing evaluation.
Some heroes were buffed. Edith can now pass through walls when ejecting from Phylax. Alpha’s passive laser damage rose from 50 (+50% total physical attack) to 60 (+50% total physical attack). Atlas recovered movement speed previously reduced (25% to 30%). Yi Sun-shin’s Skill 1 cooldown returned to 12–9s from the prior change. Kaja’s Skill 1 cooldown fell from 7s to 5.5s and he now gains extra HP regeneration equal to 45% of his total magic power.
Battlefield and system updates include an added role restriction for Thunderbelt so its 50% effect now applies to Marksman, Mage and Assassin. Team Bounty’s gold-deficit threshold for bonus gold dropped from 2,000 to 1,500. Minions will award slightly less gold growth over time. Basic-attack targeting was refined so repeated taps after a hit prioritize reattacking the same target unless a higher-priority enemy is in range.
On the Mythical Honor battlefield, Edith’s special values were reverted to match standard play and Tigreal’s Skill 2 cooldown was reduced from 16–13s to 13–10s. Ranked Season 41 ends at 21:59:59 on August 27 (server time) and Season 42 begins at 00:00:00 on August 28; Season 42 rewards include the Popol and Kupa ‘Flamehide Thane’ skin and an S42 avatar border called ‘Starward Decade’.
Mode changes include new cards and a revamp of the crit playstyle in Card Brawl. Survival mode is renamed ‘Survival for Fortune’ and now adjusts power bonuses tied to Battle Point purchases, increases Battle Points gained from kills, raises the player cap from 36 to 54, adds an extra equipment drop on final elimination, makes revive actions interruptible by attacks with a 1s cooldown after interruption, adds distinct downed-state visuals for allies and enemies, removes the usage limit on the Final Evacuation Point while extending pre-closure time, increases some monsters’ skill casting frequency, reduces equipment and item drop rates, and restores original respawn timing for early-match Evacuation Points.
The patch notes use arrows (↑ for buffs, ↓ for nerfs) and a tilde (~) for adjustments. Two skins, Hayabusa ‘Shura’ and X.Borg ‘Tesla Maniac’, are temporarily disabled for optimization while the changes are validated on the Advanced Server.
